Tasty plc and its subsidiary trading company, Took Us A Long Time Ltd (Tasty) is a branded restaurant operator in the UK casual dining market. The main trading brand of Tasty is the dim t restaurant chain which serves asian and oriental food. The presentation of the restaurant is in a modern oriental style with the intention of providing customers with a contemporary ambience and comfortable environment to enjoy their meal.
Tasty plc is incorporated in England and Wales (registration no. 5826464) and all of its operations are located in the UK.
The company is currently trading from 10 branches (as at 1 October 2008) and has plans for continued expansion.
The ordinary shares of the company are traded on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) which is regulated by the London Stock Exchange. Admission to AIM took place in July 2006 via a placing of £3.36m ordinary 10 pence shares at 52 pence per share raising £1.5m (net of expenses). Subsequent expansion of the business has been funded by further share placings, raising £2.9m in September 2006, £3.0m in May 2007, £2.0m in November 2007 and £2.0m in September 2008.
Tasty plc does not have any of its securities admitted to or traded on any other exchange or trading platform.
